Half Way There...

I hope everyone had a great 3 day weekend and also had some time to relax with family and friends.

We had some great runs at the 5M time trial Saturday morning.  Everyone is getting stronger and faster and that is how the program works. 15K runners, every Saturday from now on is either a time trial or at race pace.  For the 5K runners, you now run more than you walk...and you know you can do it!

Stonebridge Ranch 5K/10K was today and I called it from way out in West Texas...Evan won.  Results are on the Results page.  Many FRC members took a medal home...great work guys/gals.  Pictures coming soon...

This Wednesday and Thursday are some tough workouts.  Wednesday is a 15 minute AMRAP workout with double unders, high snatch and man makers.  Thursday is a two mile run with body weight exercises during the run.  I will post video for each of these exercises by Tuesday night so you can review each exercise.  My daughter was holding the camera so please excuse the shaking.

Saturday night is the Frisco Relay for Life at Lone Star High School from 600PM-1200AM.  Let me know if you will be attending and able to help with set-up, watching the tent, answering questions, and of course...HAVE FUN.  Again, I will be running the whole time and after each mile I will be performing one burpee for each mile run.  I am looking to run 30 + miles...that's a lot of burpees!  Remember this is for cancer research and awareness so make sure to wear your pink FRC shirts.

Shirts have been ordered and we should receive them by June 11th.  Remember to pick up your free cotton shirt if you are a FRC member.

That's all for the week.  Hope to see you at a run.
